The Junior Correspondents Guild is a group of
students from San Isidro National Highschool who has conducted a research study about the issue of premarital sex
among the youth with every aim to generate discussions and give an intensive report that will clarify the main essence
of the matter.
This topic was chosen by our group because premarital sex is
rampant among the youth today. We would like to find out the possible causes and effects, different points of view of
different institutions and the significance of the issue in our society.
Sex is an important part of life. It's no wonder then sex attracts so much interest and gives rise to so many questions.

What's Going On?
Here is something else for you to think about. A very prestigious
Catholic College ran a quiet survey among its students not long ago. Three hundred students (male and female) were asked if
they had engage in premarital sex. The authorities were stunned to learn the results: 297 admitted that, yes, they had been
into premarital sex! And the survey was conducted here in the Philippines.
When “everybody’s doing it” (even if not everybody
is) then it becomes difficult to go against the crowd. Doing the right thing is becoming increasingly difficult, not because
it is of itself harder, but because to do so is to swim against the current.
"Not all youth who go to bed are in love; not all youth who
are in love go to bed," -Villa, Parent
